Fondazione U4I – University for Innovation
Fondazione U4I – University for Innovation was founded in 2017 by the three Universities of Bergamo, Milano-Bicocca and Pavia as a gateway to the market for innovations developed within the three founding universities.
Able to count on an important critical mass of knowledge, we are the best tool to support the technological maturation of the most promising ideas, to enhance them with the most appropriate form of legal protection, to bring them closer to the market through technology transfer actions such as licensing and/or spin-off creation, and to bring them to the attention of possible investors.

What we do
We address researchers and innovators from the Universities of Bergamo, Milano-Bicocca and Pavia to:

The projects are the innovations that we are incubating, those selected and, in part, funded by the U4I Innovation Project Fund. The patents are those born from the research of the three partner universities of U4I, as well as spin off involving innovators from Bergamo, Milan – Bicocca and Pavia.
Innovation Project Fund
IPF Innovation Project Fund is the call promoted by Fondazione U4I – University For Innovation that provides funding to support innovative ideas with the aim of promoting their technological maturity, protect them with the form of legal protection more appropriate, bring them closer to the market through technology transfer actions such as licensing and/or creation of spin offs, and bring them to the attention of possible investors.
